NOTE: This is a big luscious high gravity porter.  You will note that this beer will take a minimum of 4-6 months to develop.  It might be helpful to read our information on High Gravity Beers in our Brewing Tips & Myths section.  You may also want to consider doing our simplified oak barrel conditioning with this beer.  It lends itself perfectly!

P.S.  These high gravity beers should be pitched with a huge amount of yeast, so pitching with a one pint starter is recommended.  This beer may also ferment rather vigorously so be ready with a blow-off tube for the primary.

Cheers!
